Broadband Internet Survey

The Accelerate Broadband Committee within the Kaskaskia College Region on behalf of the Clinton County Board has prepared a survey to determine the need for expanded broadband service. The link to the survey is https://illinoisaces.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eqSTPXzoGJMSZkG

If you know of someone who does not have internet access at home, please let them know the library has paper copies of the survey they can complete. The library also has computers for public use if they would like to complete the survey online.

Every household that completes the survey will be entered into a prize drawing to be held in late July.

Scholarship Opportunity

Our Fall Beacon Scholarship’s deadline is right around the corner, and we’re encouraging all applicants to submit their entries before June 30th. Qualifying applicants must reside in a rural area and meet low-income criteria outlined in the terms and conditions of the scholarship. 

THE SCHOLARSHIP:

Here’s how we want to help students across America:The Beacon® Scholarship for Rural America will award $1,000 scholarships to ONE winner in the Spring and TWO winners in the Fall semester to graduating high school seniors, current college students or adult learners planning to enroll in an accredited college program during the 2022-2023 academic year.
