Fishing at the Lake

Our first summer reading event, “Makin’ Music” was a big hit. The kids made maracas, banjos and flutes. Next up, we’ll go fishing at the lake park here in Germantown. Meet at the lake Tuesday, June 25 at 11am. A representative from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources will be there providing equipment, safety tips and showing us how to cast. Kids don’t need a license and will be able to try there luck fishing. You may bring your own gear, if you have it. The library will provide snacks. ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT!!
