Happy Easter and Happy Spring!

free-spring-clipart-flowers_03

Although it doesn’t feel like it today, spring is finally here.  Just wanted to wish all our patrons a Happy Easter and happy spring season.  The library will not be closed over Easter weekend, but will be open normal hours.  If you need a break from the candy and egg hunts, stop in and pick up a good book to relax with.

Welcoming New Babies

Do you know someone who’s recently had a new baby?  Please let us know.  The library has a great program where a welcome packet is sent to new parents in the Germantown library district.  The packet includes a cute bib saying “Read to Me” and several other goodies.  However if the parents aren’t already library patrons or aren’t in the phone book, we don’t always have access to home addresses.  Just call us at 523-4820 or email us at gma@gtownlibrary.org, with the parents’ name and address and date of birth of the new addition, and we’ll be happy to send a welcome packet.
