As the weather warms up, your thoughts may turn to fishing. Â We’ve got a great lake here in Germantown and if you’re in need of extra fishing poles, the library can help. Â We have fishing rods available, courtesy of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. Â The equipment may be checked out for 1 week.

We now have all the basic tax forms and instruction books for Federal, Illinois and Missouri income tax filing. Â In addition, we have a binder of many more federal tax forms that you can make free copies of as needed. Â When you’re ready to file, stop in at the library to pick up free forms.

Last Friday, our new Lego club gathered for their first meeting and a good time was had by all. Â The theme was transportation and the builders used their imaginations to come up with planes, Â rockets, heavy equipment and even a Batman bus! Â It was decided that the club will meet every Friday at 4pm here at the library. Â Anyone who enjoys building with Legos is welcome to attend. Â There is no charge and no advance sign-up is needed.
