Month: June 2015

June is Dairy Month

Our local 4-H Clovers and Cloverettes have a display here at the library during the month of June for Dairy Month.  Our display case is filled with information and photographs of dairy farms, equipment and animals.  In addition, they brought lots of recipes, pens, magnets, stickers and bookmarks, all about dairy.  These are free, so come in and help yourself.

Fishing Poles

Did you know that the library has fishing poles to lend?  You can check out a rod and reel combo for 1 week on your library card and it’s accompanied by a great “tackle pack” that you get to keep.  The pack contains fish identification guides, lures and how-to instructions for baiting your hook, restringing the line and removing your fish.  If you’re having company, would like to take the kids fishing, but don’t have enough poles, remember the library.  We’ve got you covered.
