Legal Help Here

Did you know that the Germantown Library is a designated Clinton County Legal Self-Help Center?  This means you can get access here to information about Illinois law and forms you may need to represent yourself in a legal dispute.  Our librarians will help you go online and navigate through the self-help site.  There are videos and other materials focusing on things like simple divorce, child support, landlord/tenant matters and information on more than 25 different areas of the law.  You can print court forms for free.  We have brochures and links to other free legal resources as well.  The website is http://clinton.illinoislegalaid.org and may be accessed at any time and from any place the internet is available.
