Comments closedFor those patrons who currently use the library’s 3M Cloud eBooks, you’ll be excited to hear about some changes. Â You can now borrow up to 5 titles at a time and you may keep them for up to 21 days. Â In addition, you may place up to 5 titles on hold at any one time. Â Within the 3M Cloud Library app, you may now view titles that have not yet been purchased by the library system. Â Just click on any titles you’re interested in to add them to the Wish List for future purchase.
If you haven’t yet tried our free 3M Cloud eBooks, we encourage you to do so. Â You just need a computer or any internet capable device to search for and download items. Â These eBooks are included in the regular online Germantown Library catalog where you already may be searching for print books, music and movies. Â Through grant money from the state, new eBooks are being added weekly, so check back often and use the Wish List feature to tell us which eBooks you are interested in.
We have brochures that will walk you through the steps to download the app, then search for, place holds and check out eBooks. Â We would also be happy to sit down and help you set up and use the 3M Cloud Library on your own device. Â Just stop in and ask!

This coming weekend is the 47th Annual Spassfest here in Germantown.  Watch for us in the parade, Sat. Aug. 16, starting at 6pm.  We’ll be throwing out candy and other goodies.  The library will be open for our  regular hours Friday Aug. 15 from 1-6 pm and Saturday Aug. 16 from 9 am-noon.  Want a preview of some of the mugs and t-shirts which will be available at this year’s Spassfest?  Just stop in the library and see the display.
Comments closedJust a friendly reminder. Â We’ll need driver’s license numbers and birth dates on all patron records by September 1. Â If you haven’t already done so, just stop in and we can scan your license. Â A parent’s license number can be used for children. Â You will be unable to renew your books online at home or download eBooks beginning in September, if this information is not on your patron record. Â Thanks to everyone who has already taken care of this.
