The library will be closed Thursday, July 4 to celebrate Independence Day.  Please stay safe, display our flag proudly, enjoy our freedoms responsibly and come visit us during our regular hours the rest of the week.

There were balloons everywhere as we kicked off Summer Reading 2013, “Have Book-Will Travel!”  Over 30 kids have signed up so far to travel around the world with books.  As they read, they bring in their passports to be stamped and can move their own little hot air balloon from continent to continent around the circulation desk.  On June 15, Frazzle the Clown was here to juggle, tell jokes, ride his unicycle and treat each child present to their own balloon animal.  There’s still time to sign up, so come in and take an imaginary trip with us in our hot air balloon, as we go around the world with books.
