Free Aloe Plants

The library’s aloe plant is really growing and sending up so many new shoots we’d like to give some away.  Keeping an aloe plant near the kitchen is a smart idea, since you have pure aloe handy in case of minor burns.  Just break off a leaf, open it and spread the aloe on your burn.  If you’re interested in a free aloe baby, just ask at the front desk and we’ll bag some up for you.

More eBooks!

Do you enjoy eBooks?  Getting a new eReader for Christmas?  Now, in addition to the eBooks we’ve already had available through the Lewis & Clark Digital Consortium, we’ll provide access to even more eBooks in our regular catalog.  These new 3M Cloud eBooks will be available to check out or request directly from the library’s catalog, where you already go to find books, magazines, music and movies.  All you need is your library card number and your pin.  We have brochures available on both methods of checking out free eBooks through the library.  And we can also provide personal assistance to help you get started.  Just stop in or call us at 523-4820 with questions.
