On Saturday, we held our last event of the summer reading program. Â Dangerous Dan showed the kids lots of experiments using “Fire, Wind and Ice!” Â They learned everything from how to make balls float in the air to how to change a liquid into nearly every color of the rainbow, using acids and bases. Â Everyone’s favorite was making loads of bubbles with dry ice. Â Dangerous Dan came to us from Mad Science of St. Louis.
Although this was the last program of the summer, if you haven’t completed your passport yet, keep reading. Â You have until the end of July to turn it in for the prizes you’ve earned.
