Fire, Wind and Ice!

July 20 2013 Mad Science 015 July 20 2013 Mad Science 016 July 20 2013 Mad Science 022On Saturday, we held our last event of the summer reading program.  Dangerous Dan showed the kids lots of experiments using “Fire, Wind and Ice!”  They learned everything from how to make balls float in the air to how to change a liquid into nearly every color of the rainbow, using acids and bases.  Everyone’s favorite was making loads of bubbles with dry ice.  Dangerous Dan came to us from Mad Science of St. Louis.

Although this was the last program of the summer, if you haven’t completed your passport yet, keep reading.  You have until the end of July to turn it in for the prizes you’ve earned.
